Are you a creative professional with a talent for impactful design, content creation and film editing?

This is an opportunity to build your career on a role that is rooted in the North East working on some of the biggest and most exciting projects happening in the North East today. From digital campaigns and printed materials to short films and animations, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the North East Mayor and North East Combined Authority tells our stories. Being based locally is key to staying connected and responsive.

You’ll be hands-on with video editing, graphic design, and web resource development, ensuring every output is visually consistent, audience-focused, and delivered on time. You will bring our initiatives to life through social media, events and documents.

We’re looking for two people who combine creative flair with technical expertise and time management. If you’re ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, collaborative, environment we’d love to hear from you.

• Video edited for social media use, which can include animation and captions
• Video edited for corporate use
• Web resources you have designed features or content for
• Documents designed to be printed, such as leaflets, brochures of fliers for events
• Documents designed for digital use, which could include reports, infographics, mapping or other design features.

We are looking for examples of your social media content which cuts through to gain engagement from a mainstream general public audience, or/ and an example of visual content you have created to communicate complex ideas in a creative and simplistic way. These examples can be from professional, volunteer or personal accounts.
