Chair of the North East MSA Business Advisory Council
The Chair of the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority Business Advisory Council will play a vital role in ensuring the voice of business helps shape the region’s future. We are looking for someone who is a strong advocate for the North East, and has a track record of making a positive contribution to the region, to chair the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority's Business Advisory Council. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the North East by bringing the insight, expertise and energy of the business, voluntary and community sectors to bear on regional decision making.

Generous employer contribution pension scheme. We offer membership into the Local Government Pension Scheme, which remains one of the most generous schemes around. In addition to your contribution into the scheme, the employer contributes between 14% and 18%. This is a career average salary scheme and your contribution is calculated based upon a percentage of gross earnings.
Flexible and agile working. We promote a positive work-life balance to enhance employee wellbeing and to support a diverse and inclusive workforce. To achieve this, we offer a range of flexible working options.
Holidays. We offer 27 days, plus an additional day off for your birthday rising to 32 days after 5 years continuous service, plus 8 bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff) with the option to buy additional leave.
