Get involved

There are lots of ways to get involved with the work of the North East Combined Authority — whether you want to have your say, get support, or explore opportunities to work with us.

Get involved

Have your say

We want to hear from everyone who lives and works in the North East.

There are lots of ways you can get involved in helping us make the North East one of the best places to live, including through:

  • public consultations
  • events

If you’d like to be kept up to date about what we are doing, follow us on social media.

Share your views on the safety of women and girls

Share your views on the safety of women and girls

We are interested in how safe women and girls feel and their experiences of safety when travelling in our region.

Responses will be used to shape targeted action and inform the interventions we put in place to improve safety on and around transport across the North East.

We want to hear from young people: Youth Voice Census

We want to hear from young people: Youth Voice Census

We want to hear directly from young people about what life is really like in the North East. If you’re aged 11–30 and living, studying or working in our region, the Youth Voice Census is your chance to have your say.

The short, anonymous survey asks about education, work and day‑to‑day life, and your views will help shape future support and opportunities for young people across the North East.

The AI Growth Zone prospectus

The AI Growth Zone prospectus is currently out for consultation, and we want to hear from partners, businesses, residents, community organisations and the wider public across the North East.

Public Meetings

Members of the public may attend meetings of the North East Combined Authority. Find out more about our meetings.

Draft Budget Proposals

We've published our draft budget proposals for 2026/27.

Consultation Principles

We want to ensure that people who live, work, visit and invest in the region have the opportunity to influence and share their views on our proposals. Find out more about our consultation principles.
