Discover the people, the places and the stories that make this place so unique on an epic journey across the region.

The North East has around 140 miles of iconic coastline, stretching from Crimdon in the south, to the Scottish border in the north.

In this series, Mayor Kim will explore our entire coastline with some of the North East’s most inspiring people. From celebrated entrepreneurs and sporting heroes, to creators, influencers and certified local legends, we'll explore what makes the North East special, the challenges local people face, and the ambitions we share for the future.

Each episode will delve into a different theme relating to the responsibilities and delivery of the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority, and the missions of the North East Mayor.

Along the way, uncovering stories, and celebrating the people and the work driving change, whilst shining a light on our region’s natural beauty.
