Overview 

The North East Mayoral Strategic Authority (North East MSA) have published a procurement opportunity to appoint a provider to deliver and administer a low‑interest domestic retrofit loan for households and private landlords across the region.

The loan will form a core part of the North East Warm Homes programme, providing affordable finance to help overcome upfront cost barriers to installing energy efficiency and low‑carbon measures, and complementing existing grant funding and advice services.

Provider Engagement Event

To support early market engagement, the North East MSA will hosted an online provider engagement event to outline the opportunity and forthcoming procurement. 

The session provided an overview of the proposed loan model, the scope of services, and the procurement approach, followed by a Q&A.
